Where oh where are the QuicKutz 12" platforms?

Unfortunately, I have some disappointing news to share... the QuicKutz 12" platforms are now expected to ship in April.  QuicKutz decided to hold off on shipping the 12" platforms until the quality was up to their standards.  They're now estimating shipping the platforms in April.  So, this is bummer to look at all of those wonderful, awesome new 12" dies and not be able to use them.  But (and here's my 'rational' thought process) since they're 30% off at Cord, you can pace yourself and buy one a week until the platforms arrive.  By then, you'll have the whole collection! 

If you're interested in the 12" platform, you may want to consider placing a special order at Cord.  All prepaid preorders get first priority when we get an item in.  With the demand piling up for the platforms, I wouldn't want anyone to miss out in getting one once they do finally come in.  The 12" Platform Set is regularly $29.99, less 30%.  This set includes the 12" platform, one 12" cutting mat and instructions.  The individual 12" cutting mat is $14.99 (less 30%) and the 12" Sticky Mat set is $14.99 (less 30%).

Tropical Fun Crop at the Nora, Indiana store!

The Nora croppers chased away the winter blues with the Tropical Fun All Day Crop last Saturday, February 23rd.  The crop room was fill to the brim with 29 croppers, lots of fun and lots of scrapbooked pages!  Thanks to everyone for coming out to make this event at the Nora store so great!

Plus, we're happy to annouce we're adding four more seats in our Nora classroom!  Hope to see you at our next special event!

Meeting Becky Fleck...

We met the woman, the legend, the page-map goddess herself- BECKY FLECK!!!  She is the most modest, down to earth, nicest woman!!!  She was even doing book signings for her new hardcover Page Maps idea book.  It retails for $24.95 and is coming soon!  The book is really really, I mean, REALLY good!

CHA Winter 2008: Clip It Up...

We recently just got in the Clip It Up tabletop organizing system and were thrilled to see the new Clip It Up ribbon organizer.  It retails for $60 and can hold 36" of spooled ribbons, plus longer pieces of ribbons using the clips below.

It also has a place for your scissors at each end. 

CHA Winter 2008: Meeting Anna Griffin...

Anna Griffin came out with really beautiful new collections.  They don't allow photos in their booth unless you've actually ordered the product.  We take all of the catalogs home and then do our homework and then send in the orders, so we weren't technically allowed to take pics. We were, though, still able to get our picture with the talented woman herself- Anna Griffin!  Here's me, Anna and Stephanne...

Just checking in...

Hello out there!  For those of you in Ohio- I heard about the freezing rain and cold weather!  The weather out here in California is actually a little cold.  Today was cloudy and gray and cold.  I'm sure it's not as cold as back in Ohio, but it's definately not sunny and warm today!

There were a couple of questions about the Cricut Solutions cartridges- the eight cartridges I posted are all the eight Solutions cartridges.  The Pooh carts are the regular ones.  The Solutions carts aren't loaded with all the bells and whistles as the regular ones (the ones with the MSRP of $89.99). 

Sorry about not being able to post many pics- loading the pics onto Typepad with the hotel internet connection was running about two minutes per picture- it was taking forever!   I'll post as many as I can over the next few days.
