Hot tamales!! It's gonna be another 100 degree day here in the Midwest! If you're anything like me, you'll be spending the day inside where the air-conditioner is consistently fighting to keep up! So I was thinking a little scrapbooking inspiration might go a long way on a day when you're cooped up indoors... whaddya think?
Design Team Members Caroline Davis and Janet Zeppa were given the task of playing around with a little Studio Calico last month, so I've got a few projects to share thanks to the fruits of their labor! (And labor it is, I'm sure... *wink, wink*)
Studio Calico Classic Calico Paper: Newsprint, Wag Pattern
Bo Bunny Double Dot Paper: Orange
Font: AvantGarde, Caroline's Handwriting
And congratulations to Caroline's Daughter Maggie on her graduation AND acceptance to RIT! What an exciting time! Thanks for sharing, Caroline!
Studio Calico Classic Calico Paper: Basic Grid, Tiny Hex, Chevron One
Font: AvantGarde, Impact
**Note from Caroline: I used Instagrams pictures from my phone for this layout. I used Elements to size them and squeezed 4 on a 5x7. But Cord just added a feature on their website that takes the monkeying-around out of that process and prints 8 2x2 Instagram shots on a 4x8 sheet for 99¢. Very cool!
Studio Calico Take Note Paper: Executive, Pink Pearl
Simple Stories Awesome Cardstock Element Stickers
Jillibean Soup Baker's Twine
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Oh, and this last project from Janet? Yeah... I'm totally keeping this one a secret. Well, for a couple more days anyway... *smile* You'll see it in its entirety with our debut issue of the Studio News, coming to your inbox Sunday, July 1st!
