I mentioned last Friday that today would begin our little virtual tour to the Delaware Cord Scrapbook Studio....and so it begins!
See.. I hold a large place in my heart for Delaware as that's where I first moved to from my home in Northeast Ohio and it is the first Cord Scrapbooking Superstore I was hired at back in May 2004. Since I'm celebrating five years and a little over one week now of working at Cord Camera and living in the Columbus area, I thought this would be the perfect month to feature my "alma mater", if you will...
You'll find the Delaware store in a quaint little shopping center across the street from Grady Memorial Hospital behind McDonald's (which was actually convenient when it came to be lunch time on the days you'd forget to pack but not so convenient when watching one's waistline...but I digress!) What I love about the Delaware store is it's size (not too big, not too small) and the people! Oh my gosh... the customers are the best!
Throughout the week I'll introduce you to some of the associates who frequent this location so you'll come to know (and love) them just as much as I do! Plus, if you're ever in the Delaware area, you'll know exactly who to look for when it comes to your scrapbooking, photofinishing, or camera/accessory needs!
First things first though...as is our Monday tradition... it's time for the sketch of the week! This week's sketch is a card sketch, chosen by none other than Wendy Harr--the scrapbooking coordinator at the Delaware store. Pictured at right is a sample of this sketch put into practice! Thanks for sharing, Wendy!
Wendy teaches a lot of card classes as well as altered projects at Delaware. For a schedule of classes being taught at this location throughout this month and next, click here. Check back tomorrow for "Delaware Day Two" and more info on upcoming classes!
