Studio Scrapper Wendy Shoemaker put together this layout while attending our National Scrapbooking Day crop back at the beginning of May. Vicki, our scrapbooking coordinator at the Nora, IN store caught up with Wendy last week and lucky for us she was gracious enough to allow us to post the finished project here on the blog!
Wendy used papers from a 6x6 We R Memory Keepers "Fiesta" paper pad, coordinating embellishments, cardstock, ribbon and of course... her photos! I tell ya... there are so many fun patterns in those little paper pads--having the smaller, 6x6 prints allows you to use just a snippet of each of your favorites for a finished look that's full of variety and fun!
We had a great time at our National Scrapbooking Day crop and we're already looking forward to the next 12-Hour Cropping Extravaganza which we'll be announcing here on the blog later this week! Woot! Woot! In the meantime, I've got some of these fabulous 6x6 Fiesta-Themed paper pads and some matching die-cut embellishments to give away!!
To enter, all you have to do is a leave us a comment here on the blog (or on our Facebook page) and tell us your favorite thing about scrapbooking among friends or what kind of theme you'd like to see featured in one of our upcoming crops!
I've got SIX prize packs ready and a-waiting your responses... we'll draw names on Friday, June 3rd!
Special thanks to Wendy for letting us showcase her layout here on the blog for our first ever Studio Spotlight! If YOU would like to be considered for future Studio Spotlight postings, please email scrapbooking[at]cordcamera.com with "Studio Spotlight" in the subject line!
I am already a follower of yours on facebook and love your fabulous blog. I love scrapbooking with friends because it is just fun to be with such creative people, to laugh, talk and just have a good time doing something that we all enjoy together. Thanks for a chance to win a sweet prize. [email protected]

Scrapbooking with friends is such great fun, learning new techniques and sharing ideas is time well spent. Then teaching your daughters how to scrap is very rewarding, we're always sharing layouts and ideas...just wish there was more time to get together!

I love scrapping with friends just to be spending the time together. I don't always accomplish much scrapping but that's ok, I'm just there to have fun.
